May Flowers, Bonsall Moor
Some of the fields upon Bonsall Moor show just what delightful colour can be seen in the wild flowers, when farmers refrain from using herbicides. This painting of Buttercups was one of a series of these meadows I worked on in May. It was rather an idyllic setting surrounded by wild flowers, blue skies and the constant sound of Skylarks overhead.
