November Sunlight, Little Langdale
On this clear November day at Little Langdale, I had planned to walk to a subject further down the track, but this tree demanded to be painted. The contrast of the warm sunlit foreground and autumn colour, against the cool blues of the distant mountains and sky, made for an interesting study in complimentary colours.
