Rowan and Willowherb, Curbar Gap
I have painted this Rowan tree at Curbar Gap on numerous occasions, but this year it was laden with more berries than usual. The beauty of this tree in the late September sunlight against the blue sky and distance presented an interesting challenge of colour and tone.
